Metta Meditation

Metta is a Pali word meaning lovingkindness, goodwill, friendliness and benevolence. Metta Meditation is the radiating of lovingkindness towards all beings. It is an effective practice in reducing anger and promoting love in our life. In addition, while radiating metta the mind experiences calm and tranquility. Metta can be practiced not only in formal sitting or walking meditation but also during our daily activities. Metta practice ennobles the mind and improves the quality of our life.
