Objectives
To introduce Buddhist teachings and to
promote concepts of practising Buddhist teachings to the
community of Hong Kong by adopting a contemporary, knowledgeable,
rational, open-minded, simple, non-theistic, non-idol
and non-sectarian attitude. It strives to promote the
integration of Buddhist teachings into contemporary life.
The Centre regularly organises courses on meditation and
Buddhism that are open to the public. People of all walks
of life are welcome to attend such courses. In addition,
the Centre will also invite Buddhist Masters of different
schools or Buddhists scholars to give their incisive enlightenment
talks on various topics of Buddhist teaching. |
